In North America, Canada still has an entry restriction on many foreign Nationals. They must present a COVID-19 test of not more than 72 hours before their arrival to Canada. They are also subjected to a 14-day quarantine.
Mexico has no entry restriction. However, it screens its tourists and travelers. The country also imposes a compulsory quarantine when it’s deemed fit.
The US has restricted entry for everyone who has traveled through Iran, China, Ireland, South Africa, and a few other countries. A COVID-19 test is performed and some are quarantined when it’s essential.
In Europe, countries like Albania and Belarus have no tourist travel restrictions.
In Austria, there is only open border entry to European states. Visitors must tender a 72 hours COVID-19 test before their arrival.
In Belgium, only professionals are allowed.
Countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Bulgaria allow domestic travel alone. This means if you’re not from a European state, you can’t travel to the country. Of course, you’ll present a 72 hours COVID-19 test result.
Denmark allows entry when a tourist has a 24-hour valid COVID-19 test result.
Croatia, Faroe Island, Finland, and a few others allow entry from visitors from Europe and UK nationals only.
Estonia allows people into the country. However, if you’re from a country that records over 100,000 cases in the past 15 days, you’re subjected to a 14-day quarantine.
France and Germany have relaxed rules. A result of the test must be tendered, not more than 72 hours to arrival. Tourists can also be subjected to quarantine.
Countries like Iceland, Ireland, Poland, and Italy also accept travelers from different countries although they’ll fill a pre-registration form. They are subjected to testing and quarantine when they get to the country. The same thing applies to the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and a few others.
The UK subjects its foreign Nationals to 10-day self-isolation after arrival to the country.
In South America, many countries like Argentina, Columbia, Falkland Islands, and a few others have strict travel restrictions.
Countries like Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and a few others have reopened borders with strict health measures.
In Asia, countries like China, Brunei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, Japan, India, and a few others have travel restrictions on many foreign Nationals. However, some of them allow people who have their permanent passports to travel into the country.
However, countries like Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, the Maldives, and very few others from Asia have reopened borders for international travel.
